Welcome to my blog!

I am excited and pleased to share my ideas as human resource management and organization development practitioner.  With over 25 years of HR management practice, I had been personally involved in many a corporate undertaking in both profit and non profit organizations  – local and international.

I had worked with Glaxo Smith Kline Philippines (as Senior OD Manager), Novartis Healthcare Philippines (Country HR & OD Director), Aventis Pharma Philippines (Director for HR and OD) and Sanofi Aventis Philippines (Director for HR & OD) in the corporate world.

In recent years, I moved to HR and OD practice with the non profit Consultative Group of International Agriculture Research or CGIAR Centers of Excellence in Agricultural Research namely the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) based in Los Banos, Philippines and the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) based in Hyderabad City, India. Both appointments were expatriate status. In both non profit organizations, I was Global Head of HR and OD at IRRI and ICRISAT.

When I came back to Manila from my India assignment for almost 5 years, I gained further HR and OD experiences with my stint as First VP of HR at Mediaquest Holdings Inc. and later VP for HR at Maxicare Healthcare Corporation.  I continue to be part time lecturer at the University of Asia & the Pacific and faculty member of the Asean Institute for Human Resource Management with specialization in Strategic HR and Performance Management.

As the new Chief Learning Officer of Advanced Competency Development Center Inc or ACCI,  I intend to start the conversation among HR and OD practitioners (and perhaps even the would be practitioners) and then let’s see how we can proceed from here.
